This course discusses English vocabulary consisting of aspects of words, word classes, kinds of vocabulary, multiple senses of lexical items, sense relations, contextual definition, etc. Upon the completion of the course, the students are expected to (a) have a solid understanding of English vocabulary, and (b) be able to analyze vocabulary items. The assessment of student achievement is based on a number of aspects, which include student’s attendance, participation in online discussion, group and individual presentation, assignments, the mid-semester test, and the semester examination.
