This course is aimed at developing the students understanding on the theoretical basis on the implementation of English teaching and learning strategy as a foreign language that includes cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects. The students are introduced with some materials related with the principles of language teaching and learning as well as factors in developing the students’ engagement in learning English as a foreign language. At the end of this course, the students are expected to be able to develop their ability in designing a lesson in teaching English as a foreign language.
