This course describes content and organization of a manuscript, the importance of organizing one's thinking and writing and of making every word contribute to clear and concise communication. This course bridges the students to pass their long journey through learning process since every lecture provides them with several tasks of writing such as paper. This course discusses the process of article writing academically. It is aimed at facilitating and training the students to write academically by developing their essay to be an article and so does the introduction of research-based paper. Besides, they are also trained to have the strategy of paraphrasing and summarizing of data from Google Scholar, references by using Mendeley system, abstract writing and so are the application of online grammar checker and plagiarism checker. Self and peer assessment are involved in it in terms of online mode of learning through E-Learning (BBD or other platforms). They are also expected to produce multimodal composition. Students’ attendance, portfolio assignment, mid-term test, and final evaluation are considered in assessing their writing performance. At the end of this course, the students are expected to be able to write good articles.
