GIG322317 English Syntax

This course discusses the syntactical theory which consists of an introduction to the terms and concepts necessary for analyzing the structure of English sentences. The course also includes type of phrases, clauses, sentences, and sentence patterns as well as sentence diagramming. Upon the completion of the course, the students are expected to (a) have a solid understanding of syntactical terms and concepts, phrases, clauses, sentences, sentence patterns, sentence diagramming, syntax in relation to semantic, and (b) be able to do some morphological analyses.
